SOULyztik: Bay Area vol. 1

SOULyztik was such a fun and inspiring event, it made me want to make a soundtrack for it. Shout out to Tiffany “Jimini” Bong and Donna “Sunny D Lock” for putting the event together for the Bay Area dance community. Based on some tracks I played during the party, the battles, and a few additions, this is my take on a punkin/waacking mix. Tried to include various genres of music, so you can experiment with a different feel for each. Sounds like 80s/90s R&B, Soul, Disco and House. I think I’m starting to like this dance style a lot more now. Maybe I should start practicing seriously so it doesn’t look like I’m just flailing my arms anymore haha.
