About
A lot of the music posted here are just done at random, so please excuse any imperfections in volume levels or mixing between songs haha. Most will be 45 min to 1 hour in length, and all will be downloadable in mp3 format. You can also subscribe through the feedburner or twitter icons (on the top left) if you want to stay informed of new mixes posted.
I’m not too good at writing bios, so I thought I’d make this one sound more personal and not so professional.
I guess my involvement in dance/music all started around ‘88 or ‘89, my cousin Jon Liberato who was in high school at the time would teach me different party dances a la “Yo!” MTV Raps era. (I was in 5th grade at the time, 10 or 11 yrs old maybe? I’ve always danced as a little kid before that, but this was the year I consider that I felt comfortable enough to freestyle on beat! haha). It felt really fun and it just stuck with me ever since. Over the years I’d say that watching friends and getting down with other local dancers have influenced me a lot in someway (Gary Kendell, Housin’ Authority, Ken, Wish1, Ceech, Bionic, JayPee, and Jardy just to name a few). Now I try to learn/practice as many styles as possible, and have a greater appreciation for the culture. I’m not out there to try to be the best or anything, I just love music & dance, and love to share/learn with others who feel the same.
Bought my first turntables in 2001 and started DJing events around 2003, another fun little hobby I picked up along the way. I’d like to thank DJ Ajax for my turntables (I still use the same ones!), DJ Detect for letting me practice on his set before I started. DJ Mike Bui for lending me the 4-track (cassette!!!!), 1 turntable and mixer to play with for a day! Alex/Larry/Pete (Platinum), Paul/Alma (Cardiff), and Remy (Mass21) for giving me my first DJ gigs and residencies. Thank you guys!
I like to spin all genres of music. Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Jazz, House, Reggae, just not that much into Top40 stuff, although I do spin the Top40 stuff during gigs who are more of a mainstream crowd (weddings, corporate parties, etc). I just like GOOD music regardless of what genre it is, mainstream and/or underground.
I also co-founded OneCypher.com, a website based around street dance culture. Check it out when you get a chance! =)
Groups I get down with:
-MuthaFunkers/Wiki Dojo (Street Dance Styles)
-GroovMekanex (Locking)
-DS Players (Popping Locking) 2007-2010
-Nu-Origin 1997-2007
Favorite styles of dance:
I like them all. I just like DANCE period! Especially when it’s RAW! For me, Hip-Hop was what I grew up doing. Locking is what I am most comfortable with now. House is what I love dancing to the most. Popping is what I would like to get good at someday.

Off the top I’d say Jazzy Jeff. This guy can do it all! DJ, Scratch/Juggle, Rock Parties, Produce all genres of music… off the hook. Production wise, Dilla ofcourse, Pete Rock, Primo, K-Def, Ge-ology, Hi-Tek, Exile, Will.i.Am, 9th wonder, Marley Marl, Beatminerz, Neptunes, Timbaland, Larry Heard, Kenny Dope, Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, Vikter Duplaix, Bugz, Shash’U, Craze, Steve Dee, ISP, geez, so many greats, I can’t name them all. I also love J.Period’s mixtapes, dude kills it everytime.
Do I also DJ mobile gigs (weddings, corporate, schools, house parties, etc)?
Yes!
Do I also teach private dance lessons, workshops, or choreography?
Yes! I also teach outside of the classes.
How can I book you for any of the above?
