Disco + Funk kinda mood and also some green screen fun with Ooree the pup in this episode of The Chat Room Get Down. It was a hot day this week and felt perfect to play some vibes from Salsoul classics from Loleatta Holloway, First Choice, to midtempo burners from Teddy Pendegrass, Lou Rawls, and The O’Jays to some popular disco from MJ, Chaka Khan, McFadden & Whitehead, Patrice Rushen, and a little Boogie from Howard Johnson, Vicki D + Disco Funk heaters like Teddy’s “You Can’t Hide From Yourself”, Locksmith’s “Far Beyond” and one of my favorite edits of Bohannon’s “Me & The Gang” by Lay-Far.
