No mic on this one till my closing minutes. One of my favorite artists growing up, Heavy D (Rest In Peace) was such a dope MC, performer, dancer, and really had a great range of hits from the Boom Bap Hip-Hop to the R&B sprinkled Hip-Hop love songs. This night fell on Heavy D’s Birthday so I wanted to do a tribute featuring some of my favorite videos, sprinkled with a few sampled originals, and other surprises. Don’t know how many times I tried to learn a lot of the routines Heavy D & The Boyz did in their music videos. So good!
