Music Video Mix Show Theater 5000: Ep. 7 | Dancers in Music Videos Feature

Having dancers in a music video can make all the difference. Even for songs that are just “okay”.. if it has a great video, for some reason we tend to like the song a little bit more. This set featured a few Mariah Carey, Herb Alpert, and Michael Jackson videos with freestyle dancers from Elite Force, Mop Top, Misfits, and Scheme Team. Shoutout to EPMD’s Marquest & Fendi, some of my favorites. A powerful funky cover of Babe Ruth’s “The Mexican” by Stretch & Bobbito’s M19 Band features Rock Dancers from Dynamic Spinners and Time 2 Rock, but also keep an eye out for the B-boys/B-girls like YNot, Feenx, Bonita, Shadoe, EZ Mike, and Jazzy Jes. Catch Flomaster, and Wicket in the breakin’ sequences during Christina Aguilera’s “Come On Over”. At one point during the stream, we had a little fun with a few other guilty pleasure Pop songs. Fun talks with everyone in the chat! Thank you for tuning in, as always. There’s still a few videos I didn’t have room for, but glad we definitely got most of the requests in. I’ll have to do a part 2 of this next week maybe? Big thanks to Snorlocks, imgladglad, and Original Videorat for helping mod the chat. Catch you all next time!
