Hi friends and fam… The Bay Area has been long overdue for a Locking jam, so ladies and gentlemen… Funk’d Up TV will be hosting it’s first ever 1v1 battle. Time to start training again and bring back the funk!!
As we all know, Nepal recently experienced a devastation affecting millions of people. This locking jam was originally planned as a fundraiser for All the Way Live’s upcoming Nepal trip, but now funds raised from this event (minus small studio cost) will also go towards ATWL’s efforts to provide immediate assistance to the area. We’re asking for a $10 dollar sliding scale donation for all battle contestants and $5 dollar donation for all viewers.
I miss the days when there’s a funk related jam almost year round (Homecoming, All the Way Live, Lockapalooza, Bring Back the Funk). This is our way of showing the world how strong our Bay Area dance community was and still is. Plus I miss seeing everyone’s faces lol
