In part 2 of this series, I revisited a few throwbacks with choreography heavy videos from B2K, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey and Missy Elliot. I always liked the routines they did in their videos. Especially in Mariah and Missy’s probably due to the fact that Elite Force and Housing Authority were the choreographers. Although those videos didn’t feature them freestyle much, we get our freestyle get down fix in some old school videos from Big Daddy Kane, Def Jef, LONS, EPMD, Special Ed, Sway & King Tech, Kid n’ Play and Herb Alpert, and The Black Eyed Peas. A lot of Bay Area “Houser” staples featuring dancers from Scoob & Scrap, Marquest/Fendi, Patrick Wilson & Oscar, and The Soul Brothers. Always fun to have a New Jack Swing section from TLC, Troop to Bell Biv DeVoe and Bruno Mars, and ending with most post 2000’s videos from H.E.R., Aloe Blacc featuring a very young Miles “Baby Boogaloo” Brown, C2C with the Chicago Footworkingz, and Jazz dance heavy tune from Jon Batiste. Thanks to all who tuned in and to Original Videorat and Snorlocks for helping mod the chat. Catch you again for pt. 3!
