Was in Vancouver to DJ this year’s 3Styles Battle (by Kim Sato / SOULdiers Company) and they asked if I would also like to participate in an exhibition battle again Locking Sun from Beautiful Life Crew!

I was immediately down for the idea! I’ve never met him, but I’ve been a fan after seeing footage of him back in 2010 at Homecoming LA R16 USA Qualifier. Dude is a beast! It was my first time meeting Sun at this jam, and his energy is crazy! He never gets tired! lol. Big thanks to SOULdiers/Kim for having me out to DJ and for the opportunity to meet Sun and get down with him.

Thank you Sun for the exchange! I had fun getting down with you. Much respect and keep inspiring! Hope to cypher with you in the near future when I’m not DJing! The whole event was awesome with a lot of dope dancers and hype battles!

*Backstory: Since I was the only DJ for the event, we just both decided to pick 1 song each, and had Jaypee play DJ for a quick second. We ended up going an extra round to the 1st song again. (Also thank you Jaypee for the footage!)
